Description

Students can: (1) describe and explain the different art branches and their materiality; (2) put crucial art works in a chronological order; (3) explain the sequence and simultaneity of artworks in their cultural-historical context; (4) indicate the relation between artworks iconography and religious and literary texts; (5) recognize and name a number of important art works (and names of craftsmen/artists); (6) analyse crucial art works and indicate their characteristics; (7) analyse and explain the differences between crucial art works. Further on students have basic understandings of (8) art historical research; (9) the way in which they should dealing with historical visual material.
