Description

Students will learn to describe and apply theories and models of intercultural communication to the interactions between Chinese and Western companies, organisations and diplomatic representatives. Using these theories and models, students will learn to identify, illustrate and address cultural differences. Students will also acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge to assess decision-making processes in business, institutional or diplomatic relations with China. Students will familiarise themselves with different communicative genres, such as negotiation, debating and writing for digital and/or social media.
