Description

At the end of this course, students will achieve the following: - Engage in simple conversations in Egyptian Arabic, including introducing themselves (name, address, age, family, hobbies, study, habits, and routine). - Request and understand instructions, such as asking for clarification or directions. - Place orders in restaurants and request services, such as taxi rides or train reservations. - Identify key differences between Egyptian Arabic and Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) at phonetic, morphological, and syntactic levels. - Demonstrate familiarity with important cultural manners in the Middle East, including greetings, compliments, and appropriate forms of address.
