Description

The aim of the course is to gain insight into the different ways in which literature can function as cultural memory. Particular attention is paid to the interaction between literary works and other forms of cultural memory, to the ways in which literature produces specific forms of memory, and to the ways in which literature constructs a memory of itself. After attending this course, students will be able to independently analyze a literary case and present it in an academically adequate form, with a command of Italian at level B2-C1 (oral and written language proficiency).
