Description

- To Analyze, interpret and asses oral messages of a general and specialized nature - To Analyze, interpret and asses written messages of a general and specialized nature - To communicate adequately orally in a complex situation with attention to target, audience and medium - To communicate adequately in a complex situation in writing with attention to purpose, audience and medium - To be able to critically evaluate one’s own language expressions and (non-verbal) communication - To correct texts with attention to purpose, audience and medium - To be able to translate independently texts of average difficulty from Arabic into Dutch and from Dutch into Arabic - To be able act as a liaison between speakers of different languages in general communicative situations - To know the most important sources and ICT tools and to be able to use them adequately when translating written or oral utterances from Dutch into Arabic and vice versa
