Description

This course will give you insight into a number of economic problems that are often in the news in current times. Examples include fluctuations in the prices of goods and services, the importance of patents, the cause of environmental problems or what happens when companies have market power. In our analysis of these issues, we will use simple analytical models. During the practical sessions, we will apply the economic concepts studied during the lectures, in order to increase the student's understanding of these concepts.
