The student: - acquires knowledge and insight into the core aspects of the psychology of work, through the discussion of the main theoretical frameworks - acquires insight into the measuring instruments used within the psychology of work - can distinguish work-related determinants of mental health in individual employees and groups from personal ones, can detect emerging mental health problems and can formulate proposals to optimize the mental health of employees and the workplace. - can collaborate with the prevention advisor on psychosocial aspects and with the human resources department and employer - understands some frequently occurring mediating processes in the development of work-related somatic and psychological pathology - understands some frequently occurring problems and health complaints in the work situation and has insight into psychosocial risk factors in the company - can participate in the psychosocial risk analysis and can interpret the results.
