Deepening the learning of the main theoretical currents and authors of contemporary sociology through the study of major works representative of those currents. a) deepening knowledge about the main theories and theoretical controversies in contemporary sociology; b) developing skills for analytical use of those theories; c) developing skills for theoretical construction based on the controlled articulation of concepts and statements from different theoretical origins. Bernard Lahire – Les structures fondamentales des sociétés humaines (2023) The first part of the program contextualizes the study of each selected work. In the second part, the selection of works ensures knowledge of the main theoretical controversies in contemporary sociology. Reading the texts in the working bibliography for each class allows understanding of the program content. In theoretical classes, the professor presents the main program content and their modes of analytical operationalization. In practical classes, students deepen
