Description

In material & manufacturing lab 2 course, students will perform the advanced exeriments for the design for mechanical structure and the translational and rotational motion. In material lab part, the students will study the relationship between mechanical properties and its strength for the design of the mechanical structure. This course will provide the information for the appropriate selection of the materials and rational strength design of the structures to the mechanical engineers. In manufacturing lab part, the studetns will study the mechanical drawings. They will perform the experiment about translational motion, rotational motion, cutting and grinding. They will compare and analyze the experimental results with design drawings. Also, they will study for CAD/CAM and CNC machine.
