Content: The course consists of the following parts: introduction to studies at Hanken as well as study planning and study skills data security academic writing and reference technique use of artificial intelligence in academic studies During the course, you will familiarise yourself with what characterises academic studies, the position of students in the academic community, study techniques and time management, as well as the practical aspects of starting your studies at Hanken. You learn about activity opportunities and support available and reflect on your integration into the Hanken community. You will learn the basics of data security, academic writing, reference technique, and use of artificial intelligence. Mandatory course in the Bachelor in Business programme. This course can only be taken by Hanken degree students within the English Bachelor in Business programme. Learning outcomes: After completing the course, you will be able to: identify the characteristics of academic studies reflect on your own learning apply study strategies that support your learning follow the principles of academic writing as well as academic integrity and ethics Additional information: Students who have completed the Swedish course 0001/0001-OPU Introduktion till akademiska studier (Introduction to Academic Studies) cannot take this course.
