Description

Content: This course offers a research-based introduction to collaboration and teamwork in studies and working life. Topics include team dynamics, communication, conflict management, feedback, and personality differences. Teaching is conducted in permanent teams and combines short lectures with team-based analyses and case discussions. Mandatory for students admitted to the Swedish bachelor's program from 1 August 2025 onwards. Besides these students, the course is only available to students enrolled in the Swedish bachelor's program who register attendance in their first term in autumn 2025 or later. Learning outcomes: After completing the course, students can: Explain key theories and concepts in team dynamics, communication, and collaboration; Analyze team processes and collaboration patterns using relevant theoretical frameworks; Identify factors that promote or hinder effective collaboration, including personality differences and psychological safety; Apply course concepts to concrete team cases and collaboration situations.
