Content: This course is designed to equip students with the skills necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of academic studies, work and personal life, with a focus on creating a solid base for sustainable performance and well-being. As the dynamics of work-life undergo significant transformations, self-awareness and self-leadership are crucial for maintaining a balanced work-life and managing work projects independently. The primary objective of this course is to develop students’ self-awareness and leadership capabilities. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to describe and explain key concepts and models pertaining to personality assessment and strengths-based development. They will also be able to apply these concepts and models to gain a deeper understanding of their own personality, identify their strengths, and recognize areas for personal development. The course is module 1 of the Navigator path, which is mandatory in the Bachelor in Business programme. This course can only be taken by Hanken degree students within the English Bachelor in Business programme. Learning outcomes: After completing the course, you will be able to: explain how personality influences preferences, working styles, performance and well-being apply research-based tools to assess your own personality profile critically identify and analyze your own strengths and challenges in relation to your own personal development plan and your study path create a concrete development plan and reflect on how to leverage your own strengths
