Content: The course provides an introduction to commercial law with a focus on central legal rules governing commercial contracts and business transactions. Through a combination of lectures and practical exercises, participants gain a deeper understanding of contract law, sales law, credit and security law, intellectual property law, and labor law. In corporate law, an introduction to the legal structure and governance of companies is provided, while tax law offers insights into taxation principles for both businesses and individuals. Mandatory foundational course within the bachelor's degree in Swedish. Learning outcomes: After completing the course, you will be able to: understand central legal rules and principles within commercial law, including contract law, sales law, intellectual property law, and credit law, and apply them in commercial situations; identify and analyze legal issues within labor law and apply relevant laws to solve practical problems within employment relationships; explain the principles of corporate law, including the legal structure of companies, the responsibilities of the board, and corporate governance; apply tax law rules concerning businesses and individuals and analyze tax consequences in business transactions.
