Description

The course revises and extends basic integral and differential calculus of one variable and introduces differential equations. It provides a foundation in the mathematical sciences needed for later studies both in an engineering and science context. This course is for Engineering or ICT students ONLY. Prior Assumed: Successful completion at senior level Mathematical Methods or equivalent study over four semesters of a high school subject that includes the study of calculus. For students who do not have this level of mathematics background, it is strongly recommended you first complete 1017SCG Foundation Mathematics. Incompatible: 1202SCG Calculus I. NOTE: this course is only offered on-campus, and students are expected to attend exams and weekly classes on campus, in person.
