Description

This course covers fundamental aspects of linear algebra with applications to data science and physical problems. Topics may include: matrices and determinants; vector spaces; linear independence; basis sets; orthogonality; inner product spaces; eigenvalues and eigenvectors; general spectral analysis; and modern applications of linear algebra. Prerequisites: 1201SCG Linear Algebra and 1202SCG Calculus 1 OR 1010ENG Engineering Mathematics 1 and 1020ENG Engineering Mathematics 2.
