Description
This course covers aspects of a computer system from the hardware level to the software level. The hardware covers the basic components of a computer system, CPU architectures, the I/O subsystem, and common Buses. The software covers common data structures and algorithms, parallel programming techniques and an in-depth look at the low-level design of a Real Time Operating System. Throughout the course, the assignments and laboratories will be used to further develop the practical skills of the students.
