Description

This course introduces students to the complete business analysis workflow, from defining a business problem to extracting, preparing, analyzing, visualizing, and communicating data-driven recommendations. Students learn how to use SQL to understand relational data structures, extract relevant variables, join tables, create analysis-ready datasets, and organize multi-step analysis using Common Table Expressions (CTEs). Power BI is then used for data cleaning, Power Query transformations, KPI reporting, descriptive analysis, statistical exploration, predictive analysis, dashboard design, and business storytelling. The course is designed for business students with limited technical background. The emphasis is not on database engineering or advanced programming, but on using data tools to support managerial decision-making.
