About the exchange programme The Engineering minor is a programme we offer to engineering students to widen their scope with several courses in the field of engineering, where the emphasis lies on developing knowledge and skills to design, build and sell an engineering product. Theory, practice and project work are alternated. Fontys is a University of Applied Sciences and therefore has a strong focus on hands on experience. Besides the practical aspects as part of the courses, the exchange programme is complemented with a mandatory project of 10 ECTS, where multidisplinary collaboration, communication and hands on experience on real-life problems are essential. Incoming exchange students will be mixed with our regular third year students. Why this programme?
