Craft Project Seminar

(This project is open to a limited number of students outside the Chair) A Seminar of the Chair in Cultural Industries, Arts & Creative Tech. Each student will participate in the conception of a concrete innovation or creation project along one of the two following modalities: ▪ Art Creation & AI: This course is an experimental joint program that brings together students from ESSEC and Ecole des Arts de Cergy (ENSAPC) who will learn to work together and produce a joint piece of their choice under the guidance of a prominent artist in residence. Defining the type and purpose of this outcome will be one of the objectives of the course, producing it will be another. The principle of the course is to bring together students from backgrounds as varied as possible with different interests. We explore the tools of Generative Artificial Intelligence for the production, so we do not require technical skills a priori. Yet, since we use AI in the course, you must be happy to explore new software/tools. In previous years, students’ creations have been exhibited or performed in major art centers, galleries, or festivals. In 2025/26, with the artist Galdric Fleury, we will explore the intersection between cinema, technology and a forensic link between creation and interpretation. ▪ Business & AI: (in French, see course IDSC31412 Séminaire Projet CRAFT: Business & IA).
