It describes how theoretical frameworks have changed over time. Subjects include, among others: - Classical school - Marginalism - Neo-classical school - Keynes - and more recent economic approaches. Learning goals: - Know the basic schools of thought in economics, and understand how each of these contributed to the evolution of economics as a scientific discipline. - Relate historical economic theories to key concepts in modern economics. - Critically comment on historical economic texts.
