Building on prior knowledge of financial accounting and corporate finance, this hands-on course introduces students to the fundamentals of Financial Modelling in a professional context. Starting with a solid grounding in Excel, covering the key formulas and functionalities commonly used in internships across Audit, Transaction Services, Private Equity, and Financial Management, students progressively develop the skills to build reliable, flexible, and well-structured financial models. Drawing on examples from both project finance and corporate finance, the course guides students through industry-standard modelling practices, three-statement financial models, and sensitivity analysis, all aimed at answering real business questions. By the end of the course, students will be confident using Excel professionally and equipped with the modelling toolkit expected in any Corporate Finance role.
