Governance and ethics
Description
The aim of this course is to give participants a practical understanding of the challenges associated with the implementation of ethical governance mechanisms. Students will acquire a better knowledge of current governance practices in a variety of activity sectors. They will study the complex connections between managerial and ethical considerations in decision-making situations and learn to appreciate the opportunities and limitations of various organizational governance procedures. This course encourages critical reflection about the ways in which contemporary organizations address their ambitions to pursue simultaneously economic, legal and philanthropic objectives in an ethical manner.
