Description

Designed for students with a background in management accounting and an interest in performance management, this course provides a practical and analytical exploration of the information systems that underpin strategic, tactical, and operational decision-making. Participants will discover the main Business Intelligence tools available to build effective performance management systems, and develop the ability to select and leverage the most appropriate analytical solutions for handling data, including Big Data. Key questions around ERP systems, data model design, implementation choices, and the broader stakes of these technologies are examined throughout.
