MANAGEMENT AND HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT
Description
This course provides opportunities for students to explore the major concepts, principles, functions of management and human resources development. Special attention will be given to contemporary management issues such as management of innovation and organizational changes. Acquisition and development of human capital in organizations of the digital economy is also analysed. Ethical and global issues concerning human capital development are critically examined. Medium of instruction (per EdUHK GAO course list): English. EdUHK exchange students are typically limited to a maximum of 5 courses (15 credits) per semester. Most but not all classes at EdUHK are taught in English (EMI); some are taught in Cantonese (CMI) or Putonghua. Some courses may have prerequisites, and registration must be completed via the EdUHK Portal during the published add/drop window. Only the CRNs published in the official GAO EMI/CMI Course List are open to exchange students.
