Description

No venture subsists without financing. In the first part of this course, you will learn to build credible, evidence-based and convincing financial projections, deriving from them estimates of financial need, with a clear view of the associated risks. In the second part of this course, you will learn how to define a financing strategy to fulfil these needs, namely, valuing your enterprise, deciding when and with which vehicles to finance the venture, and negotiating a deal to suit your strategy and your capital structure objectives. On completing the course, you will learn to build and monitor credible financial projections based upon a solid business model, applied in an integrated three-statement financial model. You will be able to make informed decisions on financing choices in relation to a strategic issue and understand how capital providers assess risks, value young ventures and negotiate deals.
