Description

Contribution to the program: The Integrative Project (IP) exposes first-year bachelor students to group work by developing a project leading to a concrete realization, leveraging their creativity and multidisciplinary knowledge. Specific learning outcomes: Given a brief, the group imagines an adequate, feasible, and innovative solution using their knowledge and implements it; plans work to meet deadlines; each student personally contributes by performing necessary tasks; collaborates effectively to ensure group success with respect for all; writes a rigorous article following a given template; defends the project before a jury considering imposed constraints; demonstrates mastery of the subject and group output by answering questions. Content description: Integration situation: through the integrative project, students integrate, mobilize, and combine acquired knowledge effectively. The main targeted skills are multidisciplinary: communication, autonomy, self-questioning, group management, planning, etc. Students face a situation similar to what they will encounter in professional environments.
