Teaching Practicum C (Teaching Practicum C (Religion))
Description
This course is intended for those aiming to obtain a teaching license for the religious subject (Bible studies). Participants conduct a three- or four-week teaching practicum at their assigned schools. This course focuses on developing specific themes. Each practicum school has explored distinctive approaches to religious education (Bible studies). Although educational practices vary, participants are expected to cultivate their unique characteristics by learning through classroom attempts, analysis, and discussions, then applying these contents and methods at their practicum schools to evaluate their qualifications as teachers. Please check the 'Faculty of Theology Course Guidelines' for registration requirements. Through the practicum, participants will develop the knowledge, techniques, and mindset necessary for teaching religious subjects (Bible studies). They will also be able to proactively and collaboratively practice diverse religious education necessary for junior and senior high school students living in contemporary Japanese society.
