Description
This course is intended for those aiming to obtain a teaching license for the religious subject (Bible studies). Participants conduct a two-week teaching practicum at their assigned schools. In this course, participants attempt creative subject development based on the fundamental educational objectives of religious education (Bible studies). It involves how to read and understand the Bible and how to apply its message in the process of living. Furthermore, participants examine the attitudes and methods necessary to consider how the Bible offers insights into contemporary social issues and trends, engaging junior and senior high school students in such discussions through the practicum. Please check the 'Faculty of Theology Course Guidelines' for registration requirements. Through the practicum, participants will develop the knowledge, techniques, and mindset necessary for teaching religious subjects (Bible studies). They will also be able to proactively and collaboratively practice diverse religious education necessary for junior and senior high school students living in contemporary Japanese society.
