Big Data Mining
Description
Big Data Mining is an analysis technique that systematically and automatically extracts and utilizes rules or patterns from large-scale data. In this course, we learn about classification and clustering processes centered on utilizing data mining algorithms. Through this, we cover knowledge exploration methods that discover meaningful rules and patterns from collected data. Students perform tasks that analyze and solve pattern classification and clustering problems using data mining APIs. In addition, we learn related theories and algorithms such as linear algebra, statistics, numerical analysis, and visualization techniques, and use open source data mining software as a practical tool. Projected Results: Can design a plan to analyze data Can analyze linear and nonlinear problems Can select an appropriate learning algorithm by analyzing a classification problem Can select an appropriate learning algorithm by analyzing a clustering problem
