Mathematical Economics
Description
This course introduces the fundamental theories of mathematics and applies them to basic economic theory in order to provide a deeper understanding of economics. Accordingly, the course covers linear algebra and optimization theory required for advanced economic model analysis, as well as dynamic economic models. Projected Results: The primary objective of this course is to understand economic theory through mathematical methods. A significant portion of economic theory is based on mathematical models. Through this course, students will acquire a broad understanding of economics and develop the ability to analyze economic phenomena and economic policies in a more comprehensive manner. In addition, students will gain the mathematical knowledge necessary to understand advanced-level economic theory.
