Description

This course provides an in-depth understanding of the design thinking process and explores various methodologies that can be applied to the commercialization process through problem identification. Students will learn how to approach and solve problems using design thinking principles. In addition, the course offers a comprehensive study of six core themes and a 24-step entrepreneurship program. Each step of the 24-step program is independently structured but organized into six overarching themes. As students progress through the stages, their level of experience and understanding deepens, allowing them to revisit or revise previous decisions and choices. This iterative process serves as a detailed venture creation strategy that can be universally applied to building sustainable and innovative enterprises. Projected Results: Through this course, students will develop the ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities using design thinking principles. They will acquire practical skills to apply the 24-step venture creation strategy to real-world entrepreneurial projects. Team-based collaboration will strengthen students’ communication, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to transform ideas into viable and sustainable businesses. Ultimately, students will be equipped with the mindset and tools necessary to pursue entrepreneurial ventures with confidence.
