Description

This course introduces students with no previous knowledge of the language to basic structures and vocabulary of Korean through reading, writing, listening and speaking. The course enables students to read and write Korean alphabet (Hangeul), become familiar with basic sentence structure and basic vocabulary so as to perform simple communicative tasks in everyday life.  By the end of the course, students should have reached a proficiency level roughly equivalent to the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) Grade 1.
