[0.5 credit] Introduction to Building Performance Simulation

Description

Modelling and simulation to support design, retrofit, rehabilitation of new and existing buildings on performance - energy, comfort, emissions; from basics of numerical modelling to parametric design techniques. Includes: Experiential Learning Activity Prerequisite(s): ACSE 2001 or fourth-year standing in B.A.S. concentration in Conservation and Sustainability. Lecture 3 hours per week, computer lab/problem analysis 3 hours every other week
