Description
Knowing: In this module you will build upon your prior understanding of design skills and principles, focusing on developing your knowledge and appropriate use of representation, analysis methods and tools as used by creative professions. You will explore more advanced concepts and digital tools that are essential to support a competent investigation and representation of architectural projects and their contexts across spatial and temporal scales. Acting: Through a series of hands-on activities and discussions, you will have the opportunity to actively experiment with a wide range of sophisticated architectural representation techniques and media, allowing you to expand your, professionally aligned, creative abilities. Additionally, you will experiment with analytical approaches and methods that can support problem-solving and critical thinking in design. Being: Upon successful completion of this module, you will possess a wider range of design skills and the confidence and autonomy to independently engage with and reflect on the learning of digital methods and tools for design. By the end of this module, you will be well-equipped to competently and creatively apply this learning to design projects in your third year of studies.
