Description
Prerequisite: ACT 212 This course presents a deep understanding of financial accounting and reporting under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Students will learn the core concepts and their practical application in CUD - Catalogue Academic Year (2025-26) | V2.0 Page 294 of 423 preparing key financial statements: the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. Furthermore, students will gain knowledge and skills in accounting for various asset types, including inventory, property, and intangibles, while mastering the rules of impairment. This course also includes lease accounting, liabilities, equity, and earnings per share calculations and journal entries.
