Description

3 lecture hours, 2 lab hours This course is designed for non-science majors. Its primary goal is to provide students with a basic understanding of principles underlying important biological concepts and processes as well as applications related to biotechnology and environment. The course will strengthen students’ understanding of the relevance of biology to contemporary issues related to lifestyle issues and critical analysis of natural resources, land use, agriculture, biodiversity, industrialization, and pollution.
