This course surveys artistic practices, art movements, and cultural forms that capture and shape the way humans experience their world. Certain works and moments in history become an occasion to delve deeper to understand the way meaning is produced in different contexts, and how the artists and their audience respond to and mobilise transformation in social, cultural, economic, political, and technological realms.
