Arabic for Academic Purposes
Description
This course aims to train students to use the grammar, structures, and expressions learned in high school effectively and correctly in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in academic contexts. Special emphasis is placed on the characteristics of Arabic sentence structure. This enables students to distinguish grammatical from ungrammatical usage in both writing and speaking. The main objective is to bring the student up to the level where they may be able to fully appreciate the subtleties of the Arabic language. This course is designed exclusively for students who hold an International Baccalaureate or a foreign cultural mission baccalaureate in Morocco, and they are enrolled in it based on placement test results.
