Purpose The course has two parts: One of these examines the practical potential of anthropology, for instance in the form of collaboration with companies and public authorities, particularly via interventionist and participatory methods and contributions in various media. The second part prepares new graduates for the labour market, involving media outreach and entrepreneurship, for instance. Academic objectives In the evaluation of the student’s performance, emphasis is placed on the extent to which the student is able to: Knowledge demonstrate knowledge of how anthropology is communicated and used as a profession in relation to a relevant labour market Skills independently communicate the relevance of ethnographic methods and techniques in relation to a labour market clearly communicate anthropological results and competences orally and in writing in relation to a labour market Competences independently convert anthropological skills in relation to the rest of society Criteria for evaluating whether learning objectives have been achieved: In the evaluation of the student’s performance, emphasis is placed on the degree of fulfilment of the specified academic aims, including the extent to which the student: is able to critically account for and discuss the relevance of anthropology in relation to the rest of society (4) is able to critically account for and discuss the relevance of anthropology in relation to a given labour market (1, 2) is able to communicate anthropological competences clearly in relation to a possible employer (3)
