Topics in Cybersecurity

Description

This course is aimed at developing students a solid understanding in a range of topics in the area of cybersecurity.  Student will acquire adequate understanding on threats of web applications and network, acquire skill to specify and evaluate appropriate security measures for computer systems and software applications, and get familiar with emerging privacy-enhancing technologies such as Bitcoin-like cryptocurrencies, blockchain and decentralised applications, and secure computation. For a student to pass the course, at least 30% of the maximum mark for the examination must be obtained.
